SpecsBureau (https://specsbureau.com) is an independent technology specifications and consumer electronics analysis platform. Our mission is to help tech buyers make informed purchasing decisions through structured technical specifications, standardized benchmark syntheses, and real-world consumer consensus.

a) Information you provide voluntarily

When you use the contact or feedback form on our About page, you provide your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

If you create an optional account, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are cryptographically hashed and are never stored in plain text.

b) Automatically collected data

Like all websites, our server logs standard HTTP request data when you visit: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This is used only for security monitoring and is not linked to your personal identity.

c) Analytics data (Google Analytics 4)

d) Advertising data (Google AdSense & Third-Party Vendors)

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense and authorized third-party ad networks. Please note the following regarding third-party advertising:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to SpecsBureau or other websites across the Internet.

Clicking these links takes you to external retailer websites that have their own privacy policies. Once you leave SpecsBureau, this policy no longer applies.

Affiliate participation does not influence our product data, ratings, or editorial content. We link to the best available deal regardless of which partner pays a higher commission.
